Perth

We arrived in Perth a couple of weeks before Christmas

We're parked up and are staying with friends we met years ago when they moved to Sydney for work for a few years.

Don't get me wrong, we're loving travelling, but how nice to have some normality - eating at a table with other people!

We had a day out and about in the city,

We visited the beautiful Kings Park botanical gardens that overlook the city.

Love a good whispering wall!

We went out to dinner using the voucher from friends at MLC when John retired.

Went to a couple of museums at Freemantle. 
26 November is firmly burned into my brain. 
I loved following the America's Cup in the 80s

We spent a day wandering around the city.

All the way down the coast there are references to The Batavia, shipwreck. It's a he'll of a story, so of course we visited the WA shipwreck museum to see a bit of it.

We decided we could definitely live in South Perth.

South Park's boardwalk. Catching that cooler afternoon breeze and the views of the city made this the spot we'd move to :)
