Streaky Bay

WINDY!
Streaky Bay is windy!

Note the absence of canvas. Wound it in during the night. Not a chance of risking it going back out. Took the frame in.

It's a nice little town, full of travellers, many holidaying from Adelaide. LOTS of fishing people.

Kieran McEvoy is a local lad

The caravan park is behind the sheds behind Robyn

The Australian mainland's largest sea lion colony is nearby, so we braved the wind and drove out there.
It was good to see about 40 animals in the water and on the sand and rocks below the lookout.

Sea lions down there on the beach.

Helpful signboards at Hally's Beach ;)

Near here is
Whistling Rocks, where there's small blowholes. Very cool!

Murphy's Haystacks, just out of Streaky Bay on the road to Port Lincoln.
They reminded us of Hippo's Yawn at Wave Rock.

On to Coffin Bay. Famous for its oysters, we're using it as a base to look around here and Port Lincoln.
