Nice pool, and the ocean at Cable Beach was lovely. Actually, our first proper swim in the ocean since leaving in April. It was pretty wet and drizzly and starting to get cooler as made our way up the NSW and lower Queensland coasts 6 months ago, and as we got further north into the tropics then stingers and crocs were a problem, so a couple of swims here were just beautiful.
We had a couple of days before we met Em, which gave us a chance to do a little maintenance and housekeeping before meeting her at the airport.

Went to Matsos brewery
and Willie Creek Pearl farm
Drove along the beach and had a drink and nibbles and watched the sunset and camels
Went to the outdoor cinema and watched a movie while a couple of planes flew overhead to land.
Went to the markets
Looked for dinosaur prints at Gantheume Point
We saw our first frilled neck lizards.
