Carnarvon

As Emily had a flight home booked from Carnarvon, we made our way south there.

Emily adding a place marker to our map

We had no idea what to expect of Carnarvon.

We didn't know it was such a fruit bowl for Australia, growing tonnes of tomatoes, bananas, beans, mangoes, pumpkin and more.

Carnarvon was integral to America's space success, and EVERYONE we spoke to recommended a visit to the space museum.
Well worth the visit. (Loving our Seniors Cards!)

Landing the space shuttle was bloody hard! (We all failed)

Flying in space the space was bloody hard! (We all failed)

Ready for take-off in the lunar module

No caption will do this justice

We went to the markets, walked along the newly developed waterfront, did a bit of maintenance to the car and van, did a bit of cooking/meal prep and baking and some washing, relaxed on the Sunday (with Bathurst on in the background), and did a shop ready to head back up north, back to Coral Bay and Exmouth and then inland over the next week or two.
